What did Trumpers know or care about?

Had an interesting Thanksgiving with fellow Democrats.
We were breaking down the election.
Lots of thoughts of what happened and why.
The best discussion centered about Trump voters knowledge of negative things that he had actually said and done.
I’m going to list some things.
I’d like DU help with your thoughts.

Of what I list, please write beside them that either Trumpers:
1. “Didn’t know” (DK) something because they don’t consume much news or only RW Propaganda news and hadn’t heard about it.
2. “Didn’t believe” (DB) something even if they heard it from a place that they had considered a reliable source. They just write it off to a left wing lie and say his words were manipulated by nefarious editing.
3. “Didn’t care” (DC) about something that they agreed was really bad that Trump did or said. But they didn’t think it rose to the level of no longer supporting him. E.g. “that’s just Trump kidding around” or “he really didn’t mean that or wouldn’t really do that”.

Here are some topics and you can add your own to the list and then please
put a DK, DB, or DC next to the items when thinking about the mindset of the Trumpers in your life.

1. John McCain POW comment: “I like people that didn’t get captured”
2. People that join the military are: “Suckers and losers”
3. Covid can be combated by: “injecting bleach”
4. Believing Putins version of events over his own American intelligence agencies
5. Wanting to withdraw from NATO and abandon Ukraine

Don't know don't care across the board.

Problem is, there is so much more, and so many more important things that totally disqualify trump and all those who support him.

2. I pick MISOGYNY as the reason for all those issues.

Too many people, including women & minorities, are rooted in the white Christian patriarchy. Never underestimate tradition & the hold "this is just how we do things" has on people.

You saw how so many women voted him back in and some minority groups, with the exception of black Americans who can smell bullshit a mile away. Black people know what's up.

5. White women continue to be a big disappointment.

Supposedly white repub women were pissed as hell about abortion, but that was either over-reported or simply didn't translate into votes. I thought young women particularly, would have split much more in favor of Harris.

6. Women had no excuse

Women should have strongly supported the candidate that was compassonate and intelligent.

Something is wrong with many women in this country, as even Mexico has a woman leader. Mexico!

I am more disappointed in American women than anyone else.

3. What other people said

I'm going to add chaos. These idiots thrive in chaos and seeing misery inflicted on to others because they are both arrogant and insecure human beings with a violent and sadistic streak. They are very nasty human beings and two faced too.

No surprise they latch on to the orange lard.

7. The Suckers and Losers one is my biggest question.

I really wish that General Kelly would have gone all in on this.
If he would have appeared on every news outlet over and over again stressing this.
If he would have made commercial appearances and rally appearances with and for Harris, I think that could have made a difference.
Enough to win, who knows?
But it might have suppressed some of Trumps veteran support.

8. Cracks me up that Trump, claiming to be Christian:

"...likes people that didn't get captured." Did he miss that part in Sunday school where Jesus was captured by the Romans? Maybe he actually worships Jesus Barabbas, the lying, murderous insurrectionist who was released from jail*.

The bleach thing they don't believe because he actually didn't say to inject bleach, exact in those exact words. They are all happy to carefully parse his words if they have to.

They don't care about him insulting McCain or NATO.

They may not know about him with Putin in Helsinki but won't believe it and will ignore it if you provide actual proof.

even Dems have legalized killing babies after they are born?

I imagine it's gospel to most of them.

Same for eating cats and dogs, trans surgeries happening in schools...
