How a federal sentance could be a death sentance.

So high security federal prisons are not nice places. We all know that.

People get killed in general population for all kinds of reasons, but high profile prisoners are generally segregated, especially nonviolent ones like hunter who would normally go to a minimum security prison where they would be relatively safe.

But when prisons are run by felons, all bets are off.

Imagine a lifer, or even a group of them, being offered a pardon for killing another inmate. Maybe they even get a transfer to a lower security prison to make that happen.

See how that can work?

Wonder why hunter was pardoned? I dont.
