Sarah Longwell said "the velociraptors have figured out out to turn the doorknobs."

That's such a perfect description of a 2nd Trump term.

The first term was kind of experimental so there was a bunch of fuck ups and there were people that prevented Trump's worst impulses.

That lack of knowledge on the levers of power and experimenting was the metaphorical closed door that kept us from the worst.

Now, they've been game-planning since that ass-hat left office and getting an understanding what they can do and how they can do it. No one in the first Trump administration talked about recess appointments, and now they are. AG Bill Bar prevented Kash Patel from being appointed in the first administration. There is no one, other than Senate Republicans, preventing it now.

Now, the velociraptors have learned to open doors.

They're just handles. Just push down for ADA accessibility.

It's not hard. Cats and dogs can do it.
