Just on Lawrence: Andrew Weismann says in his 20 years with the Justice Department...

…he’s never seen anyone prosecuted for the non-violent gun and tax crimes Hunter committed. On the gun charge, usually addicts receive treatment. In the tax charge, Hunter repaid the taxes with interest and penalties. Usually, on both charges, there would be deferred prosecution. He was only charged because he was the son of a President seeking re-election.

On the gun charge, rethugs had been engaged in getting cases forward to have that sort of law tossed out. Then -- crickets.

The logical conclusion is that rethugs hate the Bidens more than they love their guns. That's how deep their hate is.

And you will see republicans who have illegally carried guns into airports and been caught red handed. None of them were really penalized. Gun laws aren’t meant for republicans just the people they don’t like.

Some republicans are saying it was the same thing they would have done. The problem is he kept saying he wouldn't pardon him. That makes a man I have nothing but the highest respect for a liar.

Democrats, fucking Republicans and the goddamned corporate media that kept this bullshit story going for years, talking about Hunter's laptop, his dick pics and every salacious bit of "news" put out by Trump and his henchmen. Then Garland comes along and appoints a special prosecutor.
