Kash Patel at the FBI is why Biden absolutely needed to pardon Hunter. That guy is a lunatic and has it out for him.

Joe's pardon of Hunter is way overdue. Presidents all use/abuse their pardon power, and thinking that H.B. should have to put up with this sham of a prosecution over bullshit charges was ridiculous to begin with, but ok, Biden was willing to put up with it in a bid to support the rule of law, etc.

But Patel will absolutely politicize domestic federal law enforcement and investigation, and no one should have to put up with that shit. In that light, the pardon is not only understandable but absolutely necessary.

If Patel is openly corrupt, then the pardon won't protect Hunter. RockRaven Dec 3 #1

There is no protecting people from an openly corrupt law enforcement apparatus, because much of the damage they can do is separate from a trial and conviction.

I would like him to address the American people and talk to them about what can be done to resist this fascist regime, as well. But for now I am settling for him protecting his recovering addict son.

Trump has been very clear about his intention of pursuing retribution. He has identified many of the enemies by name, and a much larger set of people by function (people who voted in favor of impeachment, reporters, people who voted for Ukraine aid, etc.)

Biden should issue preemptive pardons for ANYBODY who fits any of Trump's various threats, including REPUBLICANS. This list might be hundreds, even thousands of people. The more, the better because that will reinforce just how wild Trump's threats are. And if this leads to a move torestrict or eliminate the Presidential pardon power, so much the better.

Wanted him to be pardoned as soon as we lost the election.
