While I had been thinking from the beginning that TRAITOR** should probably employ a food taster, it suddenly struck me that orange skum is more valuable to them as distraction, the bright, shiny object that keeps the rubes, and the chattering class, from noticing what is really going on, and that they are being screwed.

Hardly an original thought, I am sure. But odd what one's brain can conjure after being up since 3am.
