(1,069 posts)Theres a series on HBO/Max that is incredibly uplifting and that I highly recommend if youre looking for a virtual hug, Somebody Somewhere. It recently won a Peabody Award and its 3rd season is just about to end. Every episode is like a beautiful hug. My wife and I think its terrific. It stars NYC cabaret singer Bridget Everett. Its about community, dealing with grief and acceptance. Youll laugh, youll cry. Not an overtly political show, but its political POV is clearly just under the surface.
