True, the vast majority of people in this country would appear ‘rich’ to many worldwide, but they’re struggling to make ends meet.

who are not struggling.

I live in this country and many here look rich to me

They may be plutocrats, strutting around amongst the hoi polloi, slumming or whatever it’s called now, for all I know. I see plenty of supposedly disposable income being spent on products, but no indications of actual wealth.

I'm a fan of Scott Galloway (a genuiniely rich man). He makes the point that the "kinda rich" tend to actually pay their fair share of taxes. It's the genuinely rich that pay much lower rates.

but where I want more energy to go.

"eating the rich" is just a bad joke unless someone actually does it,
metaphorically or literally, but I don't see anyone in a position to do that

How about a "reverse soylent-green" operation...?

You know...two birds and all that

It's a short-term solution, until the next James Bond villain appears.

I live with my wife in a little shack in Southern Florida on retirement income. We try to live in gratitude. I tell her we live better than 96% who have ever lived. She even believes me.

government sure as heck won't any time soon,
I mean, unless he gets eaten by his own thieves' cabal,
but how would that help us?

He is the clear-and-present danger.

He doesn't look especially tasty, but you gotta take what the road kills.

I'm not sure he's FDA or USDA compliant.

Just joking.
But I am wondering how long his personal universe bubble will last.
Money and drugs can only take one so far, especially if he's bouncing around on average 20 hours a day between his "projects", parties, and posting.

Where I live a 40 year old trailer goes for for 300k. Single family detached homes start around $1.2m. People regularly work 2 jobs to afford rent.

$200k a year here before taxes isn’t even close to rich.
