Since the GOP and now Faux has been suggesting it.
Would you never go to Mount Rushmore again.

The Lakota called the mountain "Six Grandfathers" (Tȟuŋkáila ákpe), symbolizing ancestral deities personified as the six directions: north, south, east, west, above (sky), and below (earth). In the latter half of the 19th century, expansion by the United States into the Black Hills led to the Sioux Wars.

(11,396 posts)yeah.
Personally, I think we should give the mountain to the Lakota (by treaty, it belongs to them anyway) along with enough dynamite for them to reshape it as they please.

(11,396 posts)overall, more Native Americans voted for Harris than Trump.

(3,017 posts)That was based on an NBC exit poll of less than 300 voters who self identified as native American. None of those exit polls were taken on Tribal lands. Those results were immediately dismissed as ridiculously inaccurate. Looking at the results from precincts actually encompassing tribal lands show that a solid majority of Native Americans voted for Harris.

(3,017 posts)First, Trump was rated by historians as the worst President of all time - and his second term promises to be worse than his first.
Second, his performance in elections was probably the worst of anyone whoever ran more than once. He lost the Popular vote twice and his lone popular vote "win" is by one of the smallest margins in the history of the country.
Third, YouGov did a poll in 2021 on the popularity of all Presidents. Richard Nixon was the most unpopular President of all time, but he just barely beat out Trump. Nobody else was remotely close to those 2 in unpopularity.

So no. Carve him into Stone Mountain; he could hang out with his racist buddies.
