It's never been about the "Best Nicest, most Awesome" person of the year. But rather who was most impactful. That cuts both ways.

thousands of small towns, cities, etc. across this great Country of ours, that ensure that the hungry get food/fed, that they get shelter, etc. I don't know if they can award this to those people, who work mostly behind the scenes, and are, for the most part, unknown heroes of our times.

With a global reach and head on her shoulders. I think we will be hearing more from her when the Eras tour is over. Someone said this morning, "the Beatles of this time". I don't know but that is very very very high praise in my book.

Possibly the best presidential candidate who didn't get elected, ever.

The fact that what remains of tsf's brain would explode and trickle out of his ears was not even a consideration in my choice.

His running mate was Estes Kefauver, one of only 3 Southern senators who didn't sign the racist Southern Manifesto in 1956. Albert Gore, Sr. and Lyndon Johnson were the other two senators.

This year though, they might give it to Elon Musk. After all, he's been in the papers quite a few times: blew up $60 million worth of rockets, finally released The Homer, bought a presidential election...

deserves to be "Person of the Year" this year and every year that the devastating war in Ukraine drags on. Look at how many "leaders" of nations bail out when the sh*t hits the fan. Zelenskyy has opted to face the wrath head on. He also puts himself in jeopardy as he periodically travels the world to meet with allies to convince them to provide as much support as possible as the Ukrainians hold off a much larger military force.

He's the picture of leadership.
