He’s got executive experience, and he’s been re-elected. He falls into the meaty part of the bell curve politically and comes across decently bi-partisan. He’s not elderly, which is something I think voters will find very attractractive by 2028.

I’ve seen him interviewed a couple times recently. He comes across quite intelligent and winsome…the type of person everyone likes. He’ll appeal to independents and some Republicans. I dont see him as someone that certain factions will lose their shit over because he’s too this way or that way.

While I generally see Senate experience as “all that.” For someone with his CV, spending a couple years in the Senate could increase his profile if leadership made it a priority. If the opportunity comes, he hould ppoint himself to McConnell’s seat or run for it in ‘26.

He’s the kind of kind of person we need. I’m a fan!

I’m joking! I’m joking!

I have a bro-in-law from KY and nother from VA. Being from Arkansas, I like to jokingly impugn their Southern credentials!
