Here is where we are today in the ME and it is ugly. Genocide reigns.

The one hypocritical and obscene issue remains. Syria under Assad was a brutal, ugly, renegade state that Amnesty International labeled as committing genocide for years. We believed them. Now that we see the inside of what was going on there, the destruction of homes of innocent people, remains of women and children, bulldozed, shot, blown up of just wasted away inside prisons.

At the same time, when we are shown the results of what is and has been going on in Israel and Amnesty Internal names the brutality by Israel as genocide, we refuse to believe what we are seeing in Gaza and make all kinds of excuses for Israel because they are our ally. Now Israel is even using the Syrian battle as an opportunity to grab even more land and kill more innocent people standing in their way.

Russia is now pulling out all the stops on Ukraine as we focus on Syria which toppled their regime without much help from the west or Israel. This is the time to help Ukraine victory over Russia not the time to sit back and coddle Putin and give in to his demands to restrain Ukraine by limiting how they use the weapons we sent them when we make no such limitation on what Israel does with our weapons, using our name and linking us to observable genocide.

The double standards and hypocrisy that exists within our own government and the other governments of the west and the that we support around the world will not and can not and should not stand. The quiet may come after a huge battle is won but a bigger storm always follows. There will never be peace without justice, either at home or abroad.

Human, compassionate, and just leaders come and go but the likes of Assad, Putin, Netanyahu, Kim, Trump, Orban seem to last much too long. Look at the person we just elected and be mindful of what he is promising to do. We must stand against him and his supporters who will take the reigns of our government and proceed to do to us what other dictators do their people and cult followers before it is too late.

turned down a two state solution because they don't want a solution where Israel continues to exist? Bill Clinton brokered the best deal that the Palestinians were ever going to get and Yasser Arafat walked away.

All deals that included a statehood for Palestine. As his was not only before 10/7 and after.

I've heard of Jimmy Carter broker a deal, but never heard about Clinton.

To Druze and Christian communities in Syria when the Islamic Rebels tried to take over those towns. They have destroyed Assad’s chemical weapons.

Comparing them to Russia, North Korea et al is laughable.

Using chemical weapons, unlawful attacks on civilians, amounting to crimes against humanity, but not explicitly 'genocide'. Which group are you thinking of?
