(D-Colorado) to @crampell this morning:

"70% of people said they want a radical transformation of the American economy"

"People are extremely angry bc they feel no matter how hard they work they can't get ahead" & their kids wont either

Says Ds need to focus on lack of retirement, prescription drugs, health care, particularly mental health

Joe was fighting to lower prescription drug prices , what about the republicans who stood in his way.
Stop blaming democrats and put the blame where it belongs. After January this is all on the republicans, make them own it.

4 years of Democrats in power. What does radical transformation mean? Where everyone can afford everything? We're given choices on how and what we spend, but everything seems a must-have. Cell, Netflix, DoorDash, restaurants, Nikes, Amazon, etc. etc. People think they can spend it all and still have retirement accounts, eat all they shouldn't and still be thin, watch TV 24/7 and still have minds that work, kids that behave. We make bad choices, we don't even know we're making them anymore. People need to build for the future, make sound choices, and sacrifices. Government can't make everything cheap, nor subsidize spending. Life has its ups and downs.

The government doesn't make things cheap for working people, the gov. has taken away their safety nets over decades.

All the while the wealthy get every advantage, and unfortunately those who rolled the dice for Trump will make it much worse.
