Mike Schuler
December 11, 2024
Congressman Jeff VanDrew of New Jersey claims Iran has positioned a drone mothership off the U.S. East Coast, allegedly responsible for recent mysterious drone activities in the region.
The assertion comes amid widespread reports of sophisticated drone sightings across New Jersey, with observers noting larger-than-usual unmanned aircraft operating near critical infrastructure and sensitive locations, including military installations and President-elect Trumps Bedminster golf course.
The FBI and local law enforcement are actively investigating the incidents, though they maintain there is no immediate threat to public safety.
Im going to tell you the real deal, VanDrew told FoxNews. Iran launched a mothership, probably about a month ago, that contains these drones. That mothership is off East Coast of the America. Theyve launched drones, he added, citing confidential sources. These drones should be shot down!
U.S. Congressman Chris Smith (R-NJ) sent a letter to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin this week urging him to deploy all available resources to investigate the occurrences, citing mounting concerns about potential homeland security threats. Smiths letter followed an apparent briefing from a U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Commanding Officer, who reported that over a dozen drones had closely pursued a USCG motor lifeboat over the weekend.

Donald Trump announces that Jeff Van Drew will be joining the Republican Party
Donald Trump congratulated congressman Jeff Van Drew in the Oval Office following his announcement that the New Jersey Democrat plans to join the Republican Party.
He was among just three Democrats to vote against the articles of impeachment against the president on Wednesday.
Mr Van Drew said the party switch is a better fit and pledged to the president his undying support. In return, Mr Trump, as well as Vice President Mike Pence, said they would endorse the congressman in his 2020 campaign.
He told reporters at the White House that he was pressured by really progressive Democrats to support impeachment and was criticised for his proposals to encourage flag flying and add In God We Trust to public and private buildings.............................

The Pentagon on Wednesday refuted Rep. Jeff Van Drews (R-N.J.) claim about Iran launching drones recently spotted in New Jersey via a mothership.
In a Wednesday interview on Fox Newss The Faulkner Focus with anchor Harris Faulkner, Van Drew said, from very high sources, very qualified sources, very responsible sources, Im gonna tell you the real deal: Iran launched a mothership, probably about a month ago that contains these drones
That mothership is off Im gonna tell you the deal its off the East Coast of the United States of America, he added. Theyve launched drones.
At a briefing Wednesday, Pentagon deputy press secretary Sabrina Singh responded to the claim.
There is not any truth to that. There is no Iranian ship off the coast of the United States and theres no so-called mothership launching drones towards the United States, Singh said.

What could possibly be strategic there (SI)? 😄
