follow up to "My Health Care Report:"

tonight I tried to copy and paste a note I sent a friend, but when I hit post a "403 forbidden" came up. I'm not sure what I did wrong. And I still want to share my note to a friend, so retyping:
My energy level has remained high. I haven't had any pain. I've been draining my urine bag and my wound drain, it is a two inch bulb you squeeze empty then close up so it has a vacuum that sucks the fluid out. When it is about half full I empty it and close it up. That has a safety pin to pin the bulb to wraps around my chest.

Last night while laying in the bed downstairs I started to hear the water dripping thru the roof and falling on the bed. I get up and get plastic containers to collect the water and set them on the bed. But when the water coming through the roof started falling on my face I got up and pulled the blankets down, set the pillows aside and put pans and plastic containers under the drips then climbed the ladder to my upstairs bed. I had dropped my jacket with my meds in it somewhere, so back down the ladder and I needed to get my alarm clock too so I wake up to take my medicine. I get settled in and all is OK. I don't have to get out of the bed to pee, and I don't have to get up from the computer and hope I can make it to the cottage cheese container before I start leaking. Then I would walk to the kitchen to fill my piss bottles which I dump on the compost pile. Now I don't have to deal with that. When I am in the kitchen I check my bags and empty as needed. It's going out in public I have been thinking about. This Sunday there is a radio give away and free lunch down at Black Mountain Camp. Had you heard? Want to be my date? Could you be seen with someone who has a urine bag hanging from their hip?

Maybe I should wear a long coat that covers it. But when I sit down I should put it on the floor. Then there is the issue of keeping from stepping on it.

My life is full of things I never had to consider before,

But the pile of papers stacked on my desk haven't been taken care of. It might have been last New Years I cleaned my desk. Just had my radios and check books along with the computer and keypad. But I would rather browse the net than clean my desk. Mary and Tim went through my kitchen, and living room space and threw out lots of stuff. (All my milk cartons I had saved all summer to have as fire starter when I want a fire in the fireplace,) I have found some things they have moved but there is a book I'm still looking for.
Tim came by today and helped me tack plastic drop cloth to the 8X12 and 4X6 rafters and that dropped the water into a five gallon bucket. A clamp for a stack of papers holds the drip edge in place. We took the sheet and mattress cover off so every thing can dry.

What excitement have you had today?

Hope this finds you well my friend.
