Putting Trump and MAGA out of business on DAY ONE

NO AMAZON MONDAYS starting with Inauguration Day, with a warm up on January 6, 2025 for practice. We don't need to act like violent imbeciles to make a mark. Consumer buyer actions that can impede sales include: price comparison shopping excessively, delaying purchases due to uncertainty, returning items frequently without reason, leaving online carts abandoned, opting for cheaper alternatives, providing negative reviews, actively discouraging others from buying a product, utilizing loyalty programs solely for deals, and not engaging with sales promotions or marketing efforts; essentially, any behavior that indicates hesitation, dissatisfaction, or a lack of commitment to buying a product or service.
If the Washington Post does not want to endorse our favorite candidate there are other things we can do besides cancelling the subscription. It is time to be our creative selves. There are 75,000,000 of us and I think we are a lot brighter than the MAGAs. In Canada, they are setting up "war rooms" to oppose the MAGA types. I am certain that we have creative , inventive minds amongst out voters that can find ways to make a mark.
I am still inspired by Jesse Jackson's Operation Breadbasket. The neat thing today is that we can do this overnight. It took Jackson and MLK over a year to get it going and be effective. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Breadbasket

BUT I can replace the rest.

I think the Costco folks are still good, and also HEB is not bad. They will be my retailers of choice going forward. They both deliver in my area as well

But, I am purchasing less from Amazon in general.

i'm finding it painful. i may succumb.

basically not being able to find things with a couple clicks is the biggest reason. I don't really go out shopping any more since the pandemic.

If there are a few things you can only get from Amazon, it's okay, just do what you can. Like folks have been saying, there are a lot of alternatives, if you can take the time to shop around. I'm finding quite a few good deals at Aldi , with good quality. Trying to stay away from Kroger and Publix as much as possible. Ebay has some deals even on new stuff that a seller resells. Beware, though, that some sellers on Ebay just resell Amazon stuff with a small markup, and use their free shipping.
If we all participate, we can put Dump and MAGAts out of business on DAY ONE, as New Haven posted.

Amazon will still get a fee, but you will be buying from an independent seller.

I don’t own a car. I do my shopping on foot or city bus. I shop locally as much as possible, but some things I just can’t get home on my own. Cases of water, etc. I can also buy larger quantities at a time, avoiding the single’s tax. I live on a steep hill. It’s all about what I can carry up it.

So I haven’t found an alternative yet.

about the stocks. For good reason, because that's where their retirement is. It has been an issue on this website for a while & I'm sure it has informed some of the defense of the healthcare insurance companies.

Same boat for me eventually - although retirement is still aways off (longer every day it seems). I don't know what the answer is, but I do know that shopping just encourages them (the oligarchs). Maybe it's strikes in the street so they can see how many of us there are.

investements pertaining to South Africa in protest of aparthied, and it was effective. We need to do the same with Amazon. People need to sell their shares of Amazon and buy something else. If they have fund managers, they need to talk to them.

Home Depot CEO was a major contributor to the Trump campaign. I suggest that you cut your Home Depot credit card in half if you have one.

The Home Depot is facing fresh calls for a boycott following a report that the home-improvement company donated $1 million to Republicans who deny that former President Donald Trump legitimately lost the 2020 presidential election.

...and surprise! It was easier than I thought it was going to be!

Probably cheaper too! I got free shipping on almost everything, too. I have canceled all my Amazon subscriptions except the prime and Audible because I have 6 Audible credits that I will lose if I cancel. I paused the subscription to continue to have access to the books I've already paid for. Once I get them all, I will cancel Audible and Prime. I was a BIG Amazon fan and spent thousands of dollars there every year. Not another cent. Fuck Bonesaw Bezos!
