So it's a done deal?

Last edited Fri Dec 13, 2024, 05:16 PM - Edit history (1)

There is a current headline on CNN that says that Christopher Ray WILL be replaced by Kash Patel. It is a straight news headline on their home page. It is not "analysis" or opinion and is not being presented that way.

Here is the exact wording of the headline: The Soon to Be Former Director kept a low profile, but will be replaced by Kash Patel. Update: it has now been changed to some BS about how trump was drawn to the "square jawed" Wray but the raid of Mara Lago was a "bridge too far". How it all went wrong. So they actually made it worse.

CNN is either trying to normalize this nominee or they don't understand how the Senate works. Frankly, either disqualifies them as a "news" organization.

1. They are (perhaps correctly) assuming that the Senate will fold on Patel.

2. And they are normalizing a very bad situation.

4. Well, given half the MSM (or more) refers to them as "appointees" and not "NOMINEES,"

I think you know the level of intelligence and education behind the writing. Certainly few have a thorough understanding of civics.

Then again the female NY lawyer that does the LegalAF (Meidas Touch) podcasts with Michael Popock, Karen Friedman Agnifilo did the podcast solo a couple of weeks ago and showed her own ignorance--repeatedly referring to the failure of the Senate to IMPEACH Trump. Never once in three mentions did she correct herself to state the failure was to CONVICT Trump in his impeachment trials. I was screaming on the other side of my earbuds. Uggh. How damned stupid for someone supposedly so well-educated. I especially hate that it was the woman "half" of that legal team--sigh... Popock would have corrected her had he been there and I hate not being able to defend her, but...

...has created an actual enemies list, and that's not prima facie disqualifying, tells you everything you need to know about where we are and the pieces of shit we have sitting in the Senate who'd consider such a person worthy of such a position.
