Really scares me.
I remember him in an interview about Fivver, he was asked what he thought about it, and people doing jobs for $5.
He said it was the best thing ever. That it was good for people to always be looking for work, that stable employment and income wasn't the best thing for people.

4. Such an insightful comment! Yeah,

it's a popular dictator playbook to subjugate and eliminate a population. No fight back, no ability to resist. The Poles imprisoned in the Warsaw Ghetto are mourned, yet rightly remembered for their determination, courage and unity in the face of the horrors of Nazi occupation. There have been others who likewise endured and won their freedom and lives.

We, as a people, are strong; Americans never back down, never give up, and don't go down without a fight. We're going to be tested, and these are vital things to remember in the times ahead.

6. Wish I could recall where I read it, probably in a book about

Putin's Russia, there's a statement that regardless of economic circumstances and inflationary pressures in the economy Putin was insistent that vodka remain cheap and plentiful. This is why I'm skeptical Trump has ever really wanted to do anything about Fentanyl flooding into the country. He wants Americans to be uneducated, credulous as to every crazy conspiracy theory, sick, addicted and passive.

5. Your post reminded me that in Max Chafkin's biography

of Peter Theil, "The Contrarian," Elon Musk (who was interviewed because of his experience with Theil starting PayPal) accuses Theil of being a psychopath, or sociopath. Independently, many people have come to the same conclusion about Musk.

These are the people who hold the United States and every citizen in it in their hands. It's a horrifying thought.
