just a factoid for all of us to chew on...

In France just before the Revolution of 1789, the proportion of national wealth held by the top 10 percent was about 90 percent, and the fraction possessed by the top 1 percent was as much as 60 percent

https://www.cadtm.org/The-evolution-of-wealth-inequalities-over-the-last-two-centuries#:~:text=In%20France%20just%20before%20the,as%20much%20as%2060%20percent.

In the first quarter of 2024, almost two-thirds percent of the total wealth in the United States was owned by the top 10 percent of earners. In comparison, the lowest 50 percent of earners only owned 2.5 percent of the total wealth

we are not quite their yet, but we aren't getting better. And it's only going to get worse under the orange asshole.

I think Ivanka would find them soooo much classier than nooses.

Not that Ivanka would recognize classy if it bit her in the Kardashian.

They think they are too gruesome to display.

Maybe we can borrow them.

Errol Morris documentary about him. The whole version is on you tube and well worth a look. Search for "Mr. Death: The Rise and Fall of Fred A. Leuchter, Jr."

Causes of French Revolution
-overly complex tax code
-govt in debt for wars
-nobility don't pay taxes
-nobility had rights, peasants didn't
-church monopoly on education
-church too much power & wealth
-some clergy lived luxuriously
-climate change led to successive poor harvests
-general famine
-no money/food for soldiers

Just what I cobbled together from a convo with someone who seemed to know..

I like learning new things.

I've never studied the French Revolution, just had an extended online convo w someone who seemed to know, and I took those brief notes.

You know how some of our "Representatives" wear those AR 15 lapel pins? Found quite a few guillotine pins online. May get one with the Christmas money I'm sure to get.

Of course when that lead starts flying there is no full-body armor that can guarantee survival.

If we liquidated all that, we wouldn’t find much value.
