But I had a thought…
You know, the last time Trump was president, we wound up with a pandemic for which he was utterly incapable of handling like a human being as it cost Americans dearly and likely it is what may have been responsible for the Biden Interregnum.
Whatever this UFO/UAP is: whether it is international, intergovernmental, or interplanetary, something is going on, and whatever it is his merry little band of incompetent, drunken, lazy, malevolent liars are not going to be able to bullshit their way through this. In my lifetime there have been a handful of game-changers: Sputnik, the JFK assassination, the MLK assassination, the fall of the Iron Curtain, 9/11, and the COVID Pandemic and yes, there have been other events but for the sake of argument, I’m choosing these. This may be a member of that category.
I am well aware that many here do not subscribe to what they might term “science fiction” but whatever is going on is going to require lots of explanations, whether it be a domestic operation, that of a foreign power, or more, shall we say, esoteric. This group can’t cut it and Orangina certainly cannot.
Popcorn, anyone??

(123,950 posts)that Trump's Mos Eisley Cantina barflies won't be able to handle. Maybe this is it; maybe it will be something else. But it will most certainly be an epic goat-fuck. Stay tuned.

(117 posts)Plus I agree with you. The orange menace’s proposed cabinet is a national security nightmare, and the unqualified grifting yes men who will fill critical government roles won’t have a clue how to respond should anything happen. I’d say I’m glad I’m in Canada but the conservatives might just unseat Trudeau next year.
Think. Again.

Probably many things.

(27,215 posts)But always willing to listen. So perhaps you might be able to cogently explain to me how experienced military and airline pilots have described the non-ballistic motion of these objects, “obviously” of terrestrial origin, to have “impossible” maneuverability and “unimaginable” speed. Thanks in advance for your insights.

(7,117 posts)Neither would I ascribe something I don't understand to aliens, or gods, or other such nonsense. I'm of a more scientific and reality-based nature.

(2,592 posts)what I know about the universe currently (which is of course a layman's level), I do not think these objects that have been witnessed over time have traveled here from other places through space. I say this simply because of the distances involved, and the currently understood limits in the physical realm. The size and distances involved simply cannot be be understood by scale in the human mind, even as much as we think we have a grasp on it, it's still bigger. We can compare to known examples, but that still doesn't put it into true perspective.
IF these objects are not human invention (general reference, not about the drone thing), I believe the only possibility is something else that we currently consider sci-fi, which is dimensional travel, objects from other planes that we are not even aware of. There is a lot of fringe theory about it, but still just wild speculation. I just can't see how travel through space from another galaxy, or even the other side of our own, is physically possible. So I am left with theory.
The easiest and most probably answer is that these are human created vehicles, and that is what I believe is going on with the drone thing right now. Most photos show nothing more than distant lights, and the ones that are close-up and blurry show standard navigation lights in required configurations. I personally believe this is our own authorities searching for something, a something they are unwilling to share with us at the moment for whatever reasons.

Whatever it is in store for the Apricot Hellbeast and the rest of his zoo — they don’t have the brains, vision, foresight, or knowledge base to deal with it. The Muskrat and the other Techbros are, I am increasingly convinced, a pack of idiots savant.

(13,181 posts)may be packed with equipment collecting intel. Since this all started in an area near Bedminster, my guess is it may be the Broligarchy testing out their capabilities under the guise of securing Bedminster, but now testing the waters of public acceptance by spreading out into greater areas while surveilling infrastructure, military sites, etc. Since there are few regulations at present, they are likely operating legally, and the Biden Admin can't do anything about it. Now, with all the public hysteria, there's too many other drones, false sightings, and idiotic theories adding to the noise and covering up the truth about what started this.
Since the cost of mass deportations would be so incredibly expensive, Occam's Razor suggests that this type of technology might be used to rat out illegals, especially if it contains radar that could penetrate people's homes and track movements.

(22,928 posts)these idiots have no idea what they are doing, they are just going to start firing anyone that won't like drumpf's taint and we're going to find out the hard way that government employees actually DO things, like protect us from terrorists. And with Tulsi running our intelligence she might just intentionally help the process along.
with our guard down, i could easily Russia pulling off a major terrorist attack (of course "evidence" will point at someone else) knowing the country is already on the edge of falling apart and a major attack could pretty much divide the country beyond repair.

(2,193 posts)The breakdown of global supply chains. Demographics expert Peter Ziehan explained this at length in his book The End of the World is Just the Beginning. (You can read a brief summary here: https://www.shortform.com/blog/peter-zeihan-population/ )
What he has written (several years ago) about China's economic shakiness is already happening.
The collapse of global supply chains will massively screw up the world order.
The TSF Gang of Sycophants wouldn’t know a supply chain if it bit ‘em in their collective arses. Isolationism will make things worse for everyone worldwide.
