i understand that to mean that we are protecting witnesses and victims by not deporting them because of criminals, immigrant or local, in the community.

somehow these maga yokels believe that we are protecting the criminals, which i do not believe to be true, but maybe we just don't care if a criminal is local or immigrant?

at any rate, they are demonizing what i consider to be a reasonable policy.
