they'll achieve by voting for any of trump's nominees. Why can't we, FOR ONCE, do like the republicans did with many of Obama's nominees and uniformly vote against them?

I don't see any. The lowest were John King with 7 Republican votes, while Chuck Hagel got 4. Even Loretta Lynch got 10 Republican votes.

I saw yesterday that Fox and one other news organization had reported 7, but everywhere else said 6. Now it's back to 7 with Hassan.

Six Democrats voted with Republicans to confirm Noem: Sens. John Fetterman (Pa.), Tim Kaine (Va.), Andy Kim (N.J.), Gary Peters (Mich.), Jeanne Shaheen (N.H.) and Elissa Slotkin (Mich.). Sen. Gary Peters (D-Mich.), the top Democrat of the Senate Homeland and Government Affairs Committee, said he was willing to back Noem due to her commitment to handling issues on a bipartisan basis.

https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/5106167-kristi-noem-dhs-secretary/

“During her confirmation hearing, I pressed Governor Noem to set aside partisan ideologies and to follow the facts when it comes to the threats our communities face – whether we’re talking about securing our borders, foreign and domestic terrorism, or even increasingly devastating natural disasters,” he said in a statement when Noem advanced out of committee. “Given her openness to working on a bipartisan basis to address these and other threats to our homeland security, I voted to advance her nomination out of committee and send it to the Senate floor for consideration.”

So, some Democratic Senators are either suckers or traitors.

I wonder how long before I read where Noem has done something and people respond in outrage, "She lied to Congress!'.

Snort.

She lied! She fooled me! She claimed one thing and did another! How could we possibly know this would happen?

Snort.

Just like Congress and SCOTUS. They've crafted a government - cable news bullshit pipeline. It's time to destroy that pipeline.
