Cropping up are anecdotes of Drumpf voters in vulnerable circumstances now shocked-shocked at what's happening, like they didn't know he had said it for a year, or like they thought was just talk that he wouldn't aim at them.
Bishop BUDDE imploring him for mercy is a magnificent channeling of the authentic Jesus message in speaking truth to (brute) power. It is one facet that has to be joined with many constituencies each with their own method of reacting.
Besides the buyers' remorse stories that have been popping up sort of abstractly on the internet, I personally saw one two days ago. A mature intelligent adult opened up to me because she saw my veteran's cap. She said she had just been at the VA clinic. I asked how things are over there, so she's a veteran? She said her husband is a Vietnam vet, she not a patient there, but said that she's a Medicaid recipient whose $1500 per month medication has already been cut from being covered. She doesn't vote at all, apparently has been apolitical so didn't hear whatever Drumpf had been saying throughout the campaign, but that now with her own situation and what she's hearing from others she has begun to realize the worst about him. She added something I won't repeat.
I might not have the details as relayed to me correct - Medicaid (or SSI? ) coverage, whether she/dependent can access something via her spouse's VA.
