Social Security website weird daytime hours.... is this the internet ??
Yeah, the SS website is not available 24 hours a day---
trying to save bandwidth? or two people have to maintain it by themselves,
in the middle of the night?? who knows.
Much discussed here in various threads, but this is the running late-night message:

I have personally been approved for benefits, as of Monday, so they said before today had happened---
Applied on November 23rd, and was assured that the usual approval period was "30 days"--
and was finally approved at 90 days--
another DU poster elsewhere said they reached someone on the phone there,
and was told 'it's no longer 30 days, now it is 90 days'...
but still says 30 days on the website 'for starters'
I really didn't want to do this yet, but seemed I had no choice--
but if I'd known this, I might have applied sooner. Oh well.
Looks like I should be out of the woods now,
but I'll believe it when I have money in my bank account.
