https://www.tmz.com/2025/03/26/andrew-tate-girlfriend-claims-he-attacked-her-during-sex/?adid=social-tw"One of Andrew Tate's girlfriends says he nearly choked her unconscious during a violent sexual encounter 2 weeks ago, prompting her to report the alleged incident to police ... TMZ has learned.
Bri Stern filed a sexual assault report and she claims Andrew attacked her on March 11 while they were staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel … according to sources with direct knowledge.
She's told police Tate began choking her while they were having sex, but it got too rough, and although she begged him to stop, he kept going. Bri says the more she struggled, the more violent he got … and she felt everything getting fuzzy, like she was fading into unconsciousness.
Bri says the violence only stopped when Tate was done having sex, and once he fell asleep … she went to the bathroom to document her injuries. TMZ has obtained pics showing bruising on her face. Bri says she went to an emergency room in NYC -- where she'd flown for work -- a couple days later, and documents show she was diagnosed as "post-concussive."...(more)

There are lots of reasons to be concerned about Alina Habba, whom President Trump named as the new interim U.S. attorney for New Jersey on Monday. But chief among those is her drooling over online influencer Andrew Tate.
“I’m a big fan,” Habba told Tate when both appeared on a podcast in January.
When Habba told Tate this, she knew that Tate and his brother had been accused by Romanian authorities of trafficking women, forcing them to appear in pornographic videos that were posted online, and that the two men face charges of “sexual aggression” in the United Kingdom.
“I’m a big fan.”....(more)

People like the Tate brothers are predators, and they seek victims who are vulnerable.

(25,255 posts)found misogyny attractive?
ShazzieB
(20,011 posts)It's not really about finding misogyny attractive. It's about women not knowing how to recognize misogyny when it's in front of them, because they've never been taught how. It's about abusive men who know how to get a woman to trust them and how to manipulate her until she'll believe anything she's told.
There are a lot of silver tongued devils out there who will treat a woman like a queen and convince her that they're Mr. Wonderful, until they have her where they want her. They're as sweet and charming as they can be at first. The abuse doesn't start until later. This process is called grooming* and it's a very well-documented phenomenon.
By the time he shows his true colors, she's in so deep that she can't believe her own eyes and ears. How could this sweet, wonderful man possibly be mistreating her? This can't be happening, she must be imagining things...or is she? Did she did something to cause this? (The answer is "No," but an abuser will often lead his victim to believe otherwise.)
A man like this knows how to get a woman to listen to him and ignore her own instincts. He'll blame her for his own bad behavior and convince her that it's all her fault - or at least get her so confused that she doesn't know what to believe. It's a very insidious thing, and there are far too many women who don't know how to the recognize the danger signs that they are being sucked into an abusive relationship before it's too late.
There's much, much more that could be said about this. Entire shelves full of books have been written on the subject of how abusers manipulate their victims. If you want to know more, here are s few links thst may help:
https://www.domesticshelters.org/articles/identifying-abuse/from-romance-to-isolation-understanding-grooming
https://www.svri.org/grooming-for-domestic-abuse-from-romance-to-isolation/
https://www.dvsn.org/february-2024-the-manipulative-romance-of-grooming-love-bombing/
*This is similar to, but not exactly the same as the kind of grooming pedophiles use on their child victims. Both types of grooming have a similar goal: that of gaining someone's trust in order to get what the abuser wants from them.

Andrew Tate moves to Bucharest, Romania, with Tristan, setting up home in a heavily-fortified suburban compound and claiming the UK has “gone downhill”.
He says the prospect of avoiding rape charges more easily is “probably 40 per cent of the reason” for moving to Central Europe, adding: “I’m not a f***ing rapist, but I like the idea of just being able to do what I want. I like being free.

Andrew and Tristan Tate are formally charged with human trafficking, rape and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women.
The pair are accused, along with the two Romanian women, of tricking seven alleged victims with false declarations of love and transporting them to take part in pornography.
The women were allegedly controlled by “intimidation, constant surveillance” and claims they were in debt, the prosecution says.

Andrew Tate is served with civil proceedings papers at his home in Romania.
Lawyers on behalf of four British women say the alleged victims are bringing a case against Tate at the High Court in the UK, after the Crown Prosecution Service decided not to prosecute in 2019.
McCue Jury and Partners say all four women allege Tate raped and assaulted them and are seeking “damages for injuries they suffered as a result”.

She is an "influencer", so up-to-date with internet news, and must have been aware of his true colours.
ShazzieB
(20,011 posts)Not everyone follows the news closely, or at all. None of us knows how much she knew or didn't know, and it's unfair to make assumptions based on what we think she "should have known."
I never heard of Tate myself until the news broke of his arrest in Romania, and even then, I was like "Andrew Who?" and had to Google a bunch to get caught up.
And everything else aside, she's STILL a victim. I don’t know why so many people here seem to be hellbent on "proving" otherwise, and I don't really care. I know too much about intimate partner violence (not from first hand experience, thank God) to do anything but roll my eyes at arguments like these.
Watching people put this kind of energy into (in effect) defending a predator because his victim "should have known better" makes me tired and sad.

(20,011 posts)I can't believe how much victim blaming I'm seeing in here. It's VERY disturbing. It's unkind, ugly, and just plain mean to blame a victim for what was done TO them.
It would take forever to reply to every victim blaming post individually, so this reply will have to do. To anyone who is tempted to blame this, or any, victim for being assaulted, here's a link that explains why that is wrong better than I ever could:
Key takeaways:
- Victim blaming puts the responsibility of a crime, trauma, or hardship on the victim and not the perpetrator.
- Saying things like “she was asking for it” or “boys will be boys” reinforces victim blaming.
- Victim blaming can prevent survivors from reporting abuse and getting the support they need.
What is victim blaming?
Victim blaming happens when the survivor of a crime or traumatic event is partly or completely blamed for their experience and their response to that experience. People who victim blame believe the survivor had control over the situation and could have prevented it by being more careful or behaving better. This often occurs in rape and domestic violence cases, but it can occur in many other situations.

(4,263 posts)He is scum of the earth, an open misogynistic, sadistic abuser. That’s his whole thing. It’s not an act, he’s not kidding around for clicks. He’s a sex trafficker, rapist and all around subhuman. Someone needs to lock him or…..do what needs to be done to those types of people.
That is not in question.
But at some point, one has to take responsibility for themselves, for who they’re hanging around with. You know who and what he is and you’re this guy’s girlfriend? You're willingly being in his presence and consenting to sex with him? After those things he said to you? After the way he behaves?
I would never say she deserves to be treated this way but she damn well has no right or reason to be surprised. What did you think was going to happen? If I went hanging around the AB, knowing full well who they are, and started talking about equality and BLM, they’re going to beat the living shit out of me, if not kill me.
Would I deserve that? No. Should I have seen it coming? Absolutely. Should I share some blame for that outcome? Yes.
The best thing that could come out of this is that he goes to jail and the inmates take care of business. But I don’t expect that’s going to happen.
