My neighbor complained to the HOA that I still had a Harris/Waltz sign up despite me checking her mail when she travelled and several times driving her to an airport shuttle. It was within her right per my state's HOA laws that require political signs be removed within 17 days after an election. Her complaint came not long after she asked how I was doing and I said terrible since we now had a convicted felon and rapist for a president.
Here’s what I replaced the one Harris/Waltz sign with (I’ve since added 3 small Ukrainian flags to keep the Canadian ones company). I suspect the flags may continue to multiply.

(777 posts)Interspersed. American, Ukrainian, American, Canadian. Like that. Gives off a more authoritative vibe.

(119,732 posts)but the symbolism of placing the US flag over the Canadian and Ukrainian flags may be conveying a message that you do not intend. Particularly with the Canadian flag, the display is identical to what we would see if Canada becomes the 51st state with the US flag flying over the Canadian flag.

(25,606 posts)national flags are displayed on separate staffs (poles) of equal height--none higher or lower than others.
(of course, I could be wrong....... )

(23,826 posts)I also wonder if there are other free nations of the world who show support for the half of the United States who are suffering under Trump and Musk? Do any care or are we just hated by them?
