and not the Houthis? Or Canada?

Would that change of facts make this story more prominent?

Front line military service members.

Insecure communications among "the leadership" has the potential to let the target know you are coming, even the time you will be there. That is reckless endangerment of the troops from the top, at the least.
It is Aiding and abetting the enemy at the worst.
