World Central Kitchen says Israeli strike killed Gaza volunteer

The World Central Kitchen (WCK) said that an Israeli military strike killed one of the charity group’s volunteers working in the Gaza Strip and injured six other people.

“Our hearts are heavy today as we mourn the loss of one of our volunteers in Gaza. Israeli strikes hit near one of our WCK-supported community kitchens just as meals were being distributed. Jalal was tragically killed and six other people were injured,” WCK said in a news release Thursday.

This week’s strike came less than a year after an Israeli strike killed seven of WCK’s volunteers on April 1, 2024.

The nonprofit organization halted its operations in the enclave after the April 1 strike. Later that month, World Central Kitchen CEO Erin Gore said the charity group would resume operations to “continue to get as much food into Gaza, including northern Gaza, as possible.”

The IDF knows where WFK's food kitchens are. Also could not have missed seeing the crowd gathered just as food was being served.

Just like a year ago, when 7 WFK workers were killed, Israel is sending a message to aid organizations. It is serious about starving Gaza. No humanitarian aid allowed in for 3 weeks now.

That gives IDF 95 opportunities per day, 34,675 opportunities per year, to "send a message", as you put it, to aid organizations.

Either IDF is unbelievably picky with their "messaging", or "not by accident" doesn't mean what you think it means.

The Israel Defense Forces confirmed Saturday that it had eliminated many of the top commanders of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan Force in the Friday strike in Beirut that killed Ibrahim Aqil, the head of Hezbollah’s military operations.

Hezbollah acknowledged that the airstrike had killed two of its most senior commanders and 14 other members of the terror group who were meeting in the basement of a Beirut residential building. The devastating strike was a further blow to the Iranian proxy and brought the sides closer to a full-scale war.

The military named 11 top Radwan officials killed in the strike. The Radwan Force has spearheaded Hezbollah’s ground operations in south Lebanon.

Aqil was the head of Hezbollah’s military operations, the acting commander of the Radwan Force, and the head of a long-gestating plan to invade the Galilee. Aqil had been meeting with the senior commanders of the Radwan Force under a residential building in Beirut when the IDF carried out its strike. Ahmed Wahbi, identified by Hezbollah and the IDF as the head of the terror group’s training unit and a former commander of the Radwan Force, was also among the dead in the strike.

7. The IDF killed a long-dead terrorist?

Ibrahim Aqil was killed already last September. Along with 29 civilians including 7 women and 3 children when their residential building was bombed.

Was the IDF lying then, or is it lying now? Both times?

Or it could be that your article is dated September 2024. Meaning it has nothing to do with the question asked.

Ok, it's less complicated than that. I hastily linked to an outdated report on IAF bombing Hezbollah headquarters located under a residential building in Beirut on September 20, 2024, before the cease fire. The one that killed Aqil. The strike also killed at least 14 other senior Hezbollah officials. And 29 civilians including 7 women and 3 children. If you care in the least bit about who is responsible for the civilian deaths, you may want to check Articles 28 and 29 of the Fourth Geneva Convention and recollect what little you know about the principle of proportionality.

Going back to the latest Beirut strike, there were no civilian casualties reported, unless you consider eliminating Hezbollah drones to be a crime against humanity.

With my sincerest apologies for lying about the long dead terrorist, here is the proper attribution to the IAF strike on the Hezbollah drone factory in Beirut on March 28, 2025:

Beirut, Lebanon — Israel has launched an attack on the Lebanese capital, Beirut, for the first time since a fragile ceasefire ended the latest Israel-Hezbollah war in November. Associated Press reporters in Beirut heard a loud boom and witnessed smoke rising from the area that Israel's military had warned it would strike.

The strike came after Israel's army urgently warned people to evacuate parts of a Beirut suburb, vowing to retaliate against strikes which it said were launched from Lebanon into northern Israel. Israel's defense minister said Friday that if there was no peace in Israel's northern communities there would be no peace in Beirut either.

The Israel Defense Forces said the strike in Beirut had targeted a Hezbollah drone storage facility in the Dahiyeh neighborhood, which Israel has long described as a key Hezbollah stronghold. Israel accuses Hezbollah of using civilians as human shields and the IDF noted its advanced warning for people to leave the area on Friday.

This one just might have something to do with the question asked, and if one is not predisposed to jumping to batshit ridiculous conclusions, suggests a rather obvious answer to it.

Can we drop the tired genocide BS now? Thank you.
