Why the deaths of four military people near the border of a Russian ally have so quickly been swept under the rug? Not a mention since Orange man denied knowledge of their deaths. Is that how we honor our heroes who protect us?

(89 posts)I am unsure how this is sweeping anything under the rug. Evidence so far points to an unfortunate accident by the crew. Until the vehicle can be recovered and the soldiers' fates verified we would be wise to refrain from conjecture. It is also a mistake to accuse the (or any) Administration of something it isn't apparently doing at this point. Crying wolf is a two-word phrase everyone recognizes for a reason....

(5,972 posts)someone who was a wife and a mother, mother in law and grandmother of military heroes, I'd like some information on what's going on. How about search information? Ignoring the situation is disgusting. Hold them responsible for keeping us informed!

(89 posts)Miss. Information Leavitt would actually mean that much. But I totally understand the feeling that other administrations (and we would like to think the Biden Administration) would display more of an empathetic tone on the situation. I think it is kind of important though not to paint the whole of the government as being like this odious Administration and give them credit wherever we can.
They have actually put up a pretty good Web page with information about the ongoing efforts here:
