How stupid does MSNBC think we are?

Their big "scoop" this morning is that trump is very annoyed with the people on the signal chat. Wow. Cutting edge journalism there, guys.

FIRST OF ALL, it's not true. He has shown his level of concern and knowledge live on their network by saying things like I don't know. You'll have to ask them. We'll see.

Second, even if it's true, I still don't care. It's meaningless drivel.

Third, it's an obvious PR move (and a clumsy one at that) to make trump appear more involved than he is. Melanie Zanona was spoonfed this by sources who are doing cleanup on aisle nine.

I was glad to see that CNN is still treating signalgate as a serious story.

This kind of "trump whisperer" BS about what he's really thinking was boring in his first term and now it's just pathetic.

& off again after the election. If it's mostly the same programming, the morning crew is totally pathetic. It used to be that Nicole's show kicked off the decent reporting. We had cable news since 2015 & I just couldn't have it on anymore. There are times I miss it but DU's LBN truly has the LBN.

any news lately. At 75 yrs. old I just don't need the stress. I check in on DU from time-to-time, but I flee in terror after reading a small portion of what's going on out there. I've been politically active since the age of 17, but this time it's different. This is pure, evil, fascism.
I realize this is the very reaction they're hoping for from the American people, but I'm not going to allow Trump and his fellow fascists to kill me.

blame tRUMP for the slow news cycle although he is a big part of it, he's simply got to be the news, all of the time...a pathetic narcissist.

I agree w/ others that this signalgate issue is way more blown up than what it should be or I'm missing something. Perhaps democrats are still scrambling around to find topics to jump on (Social Security invasion by the doge idiots w/ no oversight would be a serious one that they should be harping on, IMHO).

MSNBC is with their audience like Elon Musk is with Tesla: drive away most of your progressive supporters without any chance of conservatives showing up to fill the void

Lawrence even calls out the WH press corps for their lapdog coverage of trump. Neither follow the stupid "narrative" of the day. But yeah, daytime is often pathetic.

I keep hearing “Threatens Takeover”. That is not how they have referred to similar situations with other counties. They would be saying “Threatens War and invasion of a sovereign democratic county”

for the first time since the election. The last segment was about musk's interview with Brett Baier and a clip asking musk about his calling Sen. Mark Kelly a traitor given Kelly's resumé. musk basically argued the FALLACY that defending Democracies around the world was against the interests of America.

And the segment ended and Katie signed off. musk's fascist fallacy just hung out there with no answer, no response. He just got the last word in, in a country where a dogged press is required to sustain Democracy. No wonder we are where we are.

Not surprising to me at all. I saw Jose Diaz Balart treat the musk thing on faux as a serious affair this morning as well. No pushback at all. Just reporting what musk said as gospel and then his R guest called musk very smart.
