I'm doing my part to help the economy... In Europe

I'm in the Czech Republic for my grandchild's birth. I'm extending my stay two more weeks while the orange menace continues to fuck up a wet dream with his beautiful tariffs. I'm buying European products, tax free, and avoiding purchasing American products.

With one exception...

I found Ben and Jerry's ice cream. I can't say no to that, even if they slap tariffs on it.

See you back in the states in a couple of weeks to review the damage caused by the latest MAGA brainfart.

on Ebay anymore, over the past month I've bought

2 books from France
1 art collectible from the UK
1 art collectible from Germany
Nothing from the United States

I'm crushing my domestic discretionary spending to smithereens. I think with my current supplies I might be able to go quite a long ways, especially reducing purchases from Amazon (which for me would be a big deal--admittedly and sadly).

I even apologized to someone at the store in France. She was kind and sympathetic, which honestly I did not expect.
