It has finally dawned on me that a significant number of people in this country....

... really do want a much stronger executive branch, including members of congress. Why?????

With Trump, Musk, and the GOP they can see their hate validated

4. They are authoritarians or like being subservient to authoritarians. I think religion plays a big part in this mindset.

6. Simple! Republicans for decades stonewalled any useful legislation except for tax cuts for the rich.

This gave congress a reputation of being a waste of space, and since they granted insane executive power post 9/11, that’s where the action is.

Not to mention Schumer-Gate ceding even more power to President Musk.

Count the wars we have had since WWII, undeclared by congress. Not a one was declared, and off we go again, so that a bunch of cosplay generals can get their lulz from killing heathens.

Did you not understand that a shutdown would give the president way more power?

But the net effect was to cede more power away from congress as law, and not by backdoor means.

Laws "validate".

If Obama or Biden were trying to amass all of this power they would be totally freaked out by it.

With right wingers. This incessant need to have some figure to worship. Religion trump whatever. They love being slavishly obedient to those they worship.

These same folks insisted that every legal roadblock available should be used to curb Obama or Biden.

These same people also demand "fairness" in politics.

(assuming you're serious)

The current dictator is doing more damage in 3 months than could be imagined in a 4 year term. Rumpco doesn't need another term.

Don't want any dictators. Want Democracy back.
