(43,784 posts)But this is too early a question.
I'm fine with the other choices, too, although I personally think Castro needs more experience.

(16,916 posts)I don't care how old he is, he's as sharp as a tack, ran rings around Ryan, and is a solid populist.

(2,140 posts)Assuming dynamics aren't altered by unforeseen events, which is a most ridiculous assumption this early,it'd be a toss up between Warren and Clinton, making my poll vote "other"...
*ETA*
More accurately, based on what I THINK I know now......

(96,882 posts)...since, unless someone tells me otherwise, Hillary isn't planning to run.

(10,777 posts)I think Hillary has earned her chance if she is able and willing, although a part of me thinks the party might be better off with some new blood instead.

(42,770 posts)him really hold his own in a vigorous debate on TV, during the election .
I don't mean to diss your choice by any means...just an observation. :>
dawg
(10,777 posts)I think he's got it in him.
I need to see more of him, and the others, before making a decision. But I like what I've seen of him so far.

(7,596 posts)Biden would be a serious candidate if he were a few years younger but I think his time has come and gone.

(10,044 posts)But he would need the support of the party, which was pulled out from under his feet in Iowa (BEFORE the scream)....

(11,961 posts)I can't wrap my head or support for someone this far out.
Plenty to do for 2014.

(33,594 posts)I'm getting really sick of these 2016 speculations. It's fucking ridiculous. Why can't people let the current president get more than a week into his term before they start prognosticating about his successor?

(5,624 posts)the corporate racketeers who finance elections wouldn't be having that now would they?

(34,770 posts)very much. As much as I loathe Ohio politicians, he's the only one I would invite into my house for iced tea and cookies. Excepting Nina Turner most of the rest are vertical cockroaches (my congress critter Joyce Beatty is brand new, so I'm waiting to see what she is like.)

(156 posts)you get no say, only the illusion of democracy.
Now the question that should be asked is which one of the corporate approved candidate will you be voting for?
MrSlayer
(22,143 posts)One of the two Wall Street approved candidates will win.
Lesmoderesstupides

(3,828 posts)Perhaps a Biden/Clinton ticket?
That would make Hillary 73 in 2020.
Tough call...

(30,481 posts)I am excited to see who the new field is going to be. I would like to see someone less hawkish than Hillary. And I love me some Hillary. I don't think it is going to be Warren, but I would like someone with her economic views. One thing is for sure, if we come up with someone who can connect to people like Obama, with the economic beliefs of Warren, it will be a great 2016.

(72,790 posts)Would love to see him run again, although I don't think his chances are very good of winning.
