http://theslot.jezebel.com/carly-fiorina-hijacks-preschool-field-trip-to-hold-anti-1754253966One of the things Carly Fiorina learned as CEO of HP was how to make use of available resources. On Wednesday, that meant capitalizing on the presence of little kids while on a campaign stop at the Greater Des Moines botanical garden. No longer were they preschoolers on a field tripnow, without the permission of their parents, they were props at Fiorinas right to life forum.
According to The Guardian, Fiorina directed 15 children to the stage, where she instructed them to sit quietly in front of a banner of a fetus while she spoke about Planned Parenthood harvesting organs.
The kids went there to see the plants, said Chris Beck, a father of one of the children, to The Guardian. She ambushed my sons field trip.
Taking them into a pro-life/abortion discussion (was) very poor taste and judgment. I would not want my four-year-old going to that forumhe cant fully comprehend that stuff. He likes dinosaurs, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Transformers.

I wish she would go away.

(507 posts)2. What a horrible vile woman.
And, were the parents given permission forms to photograph the children for campaign purposes? Every year I had to sign a form that expressly allowed my kids (or not allow my kids) to be filmed/photographed for school related promotional purposes.
I would be outraged as a parent to have that happen. I would go after the school that allowed it.
And, wtf are parents to say to kids if they ask "Mommy? Whats an abortion?"

in the morning if my kid was in that picture.
Screw Fiorina. You trust the school to protect your children from the evils of the world.

Sounds right to me.
None of them appear to be thrilled to be there.
