Kindness. Decency. Fairness, Thrift, RESPECT

These should be the guiding principles of out Party! Not that they aren't, but 1) it can be kind of hard to tell, B) Folks need to be reminded, often!

And, in these trying times, it is critical to note, that an antipathy to kindness and decency is at the heart of "modern""movement""Ayn Rand" conservatism. It's all Trump has ever known, it certainly shows.

Sexual harassment/assault/ bullying, Victim blaming, Stiffing vendors, cutting insurance and benefits, financial crimes - they all stem from the same sources, in the dark well of the soul. And they are only justifiable if you ignore principles, if favor of greed.

1. The campaign was take the high road. Obama's were the essence of kindness, respect.

All of what the Democratic conversation is, taking care of those that need.

2. Absolutely! But we need to cut through the blather.

And remove the false narrative that we "have to" be mean and cheap, that there are no other effective options. Show that kindness comes from strength, not weakness. Answer the deceptive themes (we should take care of out own FIRST!) directly. Start talking about some basic reforms and resets ( like our military!).

3. I do not think you could get the Democratic Leaders or Party to do any less.

People have insisted on it, and they refuse. That is not who the party is and they do not seem like they have any interest to be that party. One of the reasons I admire the Democratic Party and can support them.
