How about an online petition to sell Texas to Mexico?

Last edited Tue Nov 13, 2012, 06:16 PM - Edit history (1)

Change.org is now letting anyone and everyone use their petition platform, plus there is a petition out there with over 60,000 signatures calling for Texas to secede.

Hey, if Texas wants out then we may as well get something out of it.

I suggest our asking price to be 3 Mexican jumping beans, but we would settle for 2.

Edit To Add: I don't expect to actually sell Texas to Mexico, only to make a statement about how insane the idea of secession is.

They are not real citizens since they are refusing to accept the laws and rules of the Unitied States of America. We don't need the conflict and the rest of us know how to elect those who are responsible for governoring and not obstructing.

Considering the sale would not include federal assets like military bases or NASA, although they might get the Alamo back because it belongs to the state (although it's also been designated a national monument. On the down side, some of the citizens they'd be getting as part of the deal are people who don't like Mexicans.
