Related: About this forumMember lookup is now available from your DU Mail inbox
We have added a member lookup function to your DU Mail inboxes. This will allow you to search for and find members. You can then either go to their profile, or send them a DU Mail message directly.
To use the function go to your DU mail inbox, enter a username in the "Send DU Mail to:" box, and click the "Find member" button. The software will return an exact match if there is one, with an option to view partial matches. This means that if you are unsure of the exact spelling of someone's username, you can just enter the first few letters of the username and then look down the partial matches list.
We plan to add more member lookup functionality over the coming weeks. Thanks again for your patience as we continue to work on our new software.

(5,105 posts)Not just for the new functionality, but for DU itself, which gives us a vital group of friends with relevant news. You and your team are Real Americans. Patriots who care about America and the future of democracy itself.
Thank you.

(26,117 posts)I hate it when it's disabled!
The next best thing is the Google search - which usually isn't all that helpful, really.
