The DU privacy policy has been updated

Hi all,

This announcement is to let you know that I just updated the DU privacy policy. The previous policy was last revised all the way back in May 2010, which meant that it needed a few updates. In particular I needed to insert new language about additional data protections for certain users -- specifically, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for European users, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for California users.

For those who are interested, the privacy policy can be found by clicking the "Privacy" link at the bottom of any page.

I trust you to have installed and updated the very best policy available, and what's even more important, to defend it in the courts if necessary. So thanks for your smart, persistent handling of all these matters that bore me to tears, but that we need, whether we knew that or not. So:
