Two more Springfield schools evacuated due to bomb threats

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WKEF) -- Two elementary schools in Springfield were evacuated Monday morning for continued threats made recently against district buildings.

The Springfield City School District said that Simon Kenton and Kenwood Elementary school students were evacuated to another district location after these elementary schools became the fifth and sixth buildings targeted by threats within the last week.

Perrin Woods and Snowhill Elementary students were evacuated Friday. Roosevelt Middle School had been closed that day before classes began.
