Melania Trump Stuns Anti-Abortion Activists: 'She Is Wrong'

The revelation that Melania Trump defends a woman's right to an abortion in her upcoming memoir has stunned pro-life activists, with one saying the former first lady is wrong.

"Why should anyone other than the woman herself have the power to determine what she does with her own body?" Trump writes in her book, Melania, U.K. newspaper The Guardian reported on Wednesday.

"Restricting a woman's right to choose whether to terminate an unwanted pregnancy is the same as denying her control over her own body. I have carried this belief with me throughout my entire adult life."

Newsweek has contacted Melania Trump's office for comment.

Abortion is a medical procedure that should only be discussed between the woman and her physician. I think the one thing she is guilty of is marrying Donald for money, and that she has gotten way more than she bargained for with that deal. Even if he wins (he won't) she has already said she won't live in the White House.

She didn't live there when he was President before, but the White House press staff kept it a secret. She lived in her own house with her son and parents, only showed up when she was required for state functions. Her mom is dead now, but I think her dad is still living there. Barron is off to college now. Hopefully he'll find a way to break free from the Chump curse.

There's probably going to be a divorce sooner or later, not that it matters to anyone.
