'Sucker' Trump Mocked For Campaign Chief's Multi-Million Haul

Source: Daily Beast

Donald Trump is being mocked as a “fool” and a “sucker” in a new ad by his Republican haters based on the Daily Beast’s revelations of his campaign chief’s massive payday. The Lincoln Project’s ad highlights how his campaign chief, Chris LaCivita, is making a fortune off the GOP presidential candidate.

The attack ad is based on the veteran investigative journalist Michael Isikoff’s discovery that LaCivita made $22 million (and counting) in just two years. “Donald, you are such a sucker,” the ad opens, a woman’s voice narrating. “And you don’t even know it.”

A frame of Trump dancing on stage next to South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (the confessed heartless dog killer) flashes on screen, before the narrator asks incredulously, “Chris LaCivita? Twenty-two million? Are you kidding?” She notes that Arkansas Republican Tom Cotton paid LaCivita just $38,850 to manage his successful U.S. Senate campaign.

To really rub it in Trump’s face, the narrator spells out the gross imbalance. “That’s twenty-one million nine hundred and sixty-one thousand one hundred and fifty dollars less,” she says. “And [Cotton] won in a landslide.”

If the campaign paid for it it was the paid for out of donations. I suspect his whole campaign is nothing more than a giant grift with a lot of kickbacks.

That and online.
Some of George Conway's organization's ads run there too.

These are targeted straight at Trump and his fear of people laughing at him and fear of developing the Alzheimer's/dementia his father Fred died with.

12. Online advertising

Can be highly targeted as opposed to mass media ads.

As a media buyer, when I bought television time there was tons of waste there. Same with magazines or radio. Waste is defined as viewers who were already my customer. In online advertising, this is known as “preaching to the choir.” You will always have some waste. The idea is to keep it as low as possible.

However, there is less waste in online advertising than mass media. These ads will pop up for people likely to have donated to trump. That is who LP is trying to reach.

This ad poses as an ad directed to trump. It is, however, really targeted to his donors. They are showing such donors that their money is being squandered. It is a strategy designed to make it harder for him to raise cash.

More people use the computer than watch TV or use other media.

Note that these ads are watched at DU for free. That is because we would be 100% preaching to the choir.

I seem to recall that he was fired from the 2020 campaign. But he got very wealthy while working for Chump, and it didn't seem to damage their relationship ... until it did.
