Pennsylvania Democrat says someone 'should have been fired' over Trump MSG rally

Source: The Hill

Rep. Madeleine Dean (D-Pa.) said she thinks someone “should have been fired” over former President Trump’s rally earlier this week at Madison Square Garden. “Why isn’t somebody fired for that?” Dean questioned Thursday on NewsNation’s “The Hill.” “This is the big, strong guy who likes to fire people and yet he just says ‘Oh, I have no idea.’” “Somebody should have been fired,” she continued.

Dean was referring to comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s remark at Trump’s Sunday New York City rally. Hinchcliffe compared Puerto Rico to a “floating island of garbage” in the ocean and has sparked a wave of criticism from his comment. Trump and his campaign have attempted to distance themselves from the comedian. The former president said he didn’t know who Hinchcliffe was and didn’t hear him speak.

“I don’t know him; someone put him up there. I don’t know who he is,” Trump said in an interview published days after the rally. He also argued Hinchcliffe’s remarks were taken out of context. “What they’ve done is taken somebody that has nothing to do with the party, has nothing to do with us, said something. And they try to make a big deal,” Trump said Tuesday, later adding that he “can’t imagine it’s a big deal.”

Dean argued that Hinchcliffe, who she called a “horrific comedian,” is representative of Trump’s campaign. “Donald Trump has insulted … and castigated Haitian Americans, Puerto Rican Americans, Jewish Americans, Muslim Americans, childless Americans. I could go on and on,” she said.

Why would she think someone needs to be fired?

"Rep. In other words, she is saying that he and his campaign were well aware of this guy and tacitly approved of them by not meting out the same kind of authoritative "retribution" that they would use with any other non-performing or under-performing "employee" (i.e., fire the person who booked him).

... so Chump himself wouldn't have to say them.

I think that was their plan, get the insults out into the media and deflect & deny later.

Blacks/Latinos/Jews/Muslims/Native Americans/Asians/women/LGBTQ+/the disabled/the poor..he targets judges and their families/prosecutors/ witnesses/reporters...he dines with Nazis, cages babies, encourages violence, incites an insurrection, romances dictators, sexually assaults women, cavorts with a trafficker of underage girls, commits tax fraud, quotes Hitler, promises mass deportations, hails the demise of Roe v Wade..and yet a vile not funny insult comedian echoes Trump's repulsive hate for "the other" and suddenly the media wakes the fuck up to Trump's toxic bile and that's what's going to doom the orange dung heap?...nauseating but we'll taking it....
