Gov. Kathy Hochul Tells New Yorkers That Voting Republican Makes Them 'Anti-American'

Source: MEDIAite

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said that the rally in New York City for Donald Trump last week backfired on him, and gave her the opportunity to “remind” New Yorkers that casting a vote in the state for a Republican makes them, personally, “anti-American.” The Democrat appeared on MSNBC’s PoliticsNation Saturday to discuss the election and Trump’s rally with host Rev. Al Sharpton.

Sharpton asked Hochul first about House races in the state and the potential Democratic majority, before moving on to ask about Trump’s rally, which has been a source of major controversy, and in particular a joke at the expense of Puerto Rico from an opening act comic, which Hochul said was “so painful.”

“You do not think in this great country that you we should have leaders who either say this themselves or will tolerate it at one of their rallies,” she said. “I think this rally backfired on him.”

She then said that it helped her make the case for residents of the state that voting for Republicans is voting against America. and specifically that New York Republicans are not separate or distinct from the party elsewhere.

There will be a vitriolic response from the right, from l’orange, from repukes everywhere, but never forget the horrifying things their felonious candidate has said about Democrats. This statement is stunningly true. Voting for republicans is voting against American interests and against our country itself.

The former "Republican" party is dead. It has gone the way of the "Whigs" and the "Know Nothings." A Nazi traitor killed the "Republican" party; and, replaced it with a Fascist organizational criminal enterprise which bows to oligarchial authoritarianism and it is owned, lock, stock and barrel, by greedy criminal billionaires who loot the country's resources and its people. It well deserves its ignominious death. May it never rest and always live in infamy!

Not in the current election, but the last one. We had to vote twice because they hadn't yet agreed on the lines defining districts, so the first voting day was governor/lieutenant governor only. When I got there the place was empty, only poll workers and the first one I went to had a "Republican" tag, but she was glad to see me, she'd been reading a book - they all were: a voter!!! Glad that I showed up!

If I had an honest conversation with a Trump supporter I would say "If I voted for Trump it would be a deliberate act of sabotage and treason."

You don't get to proclaim unchallenged your love for America when you act like you hate or ignore more than half the people in it.
