Donald Trump Jr emerges as key voice influencing father's cabinet picks - report
Source: The Guardian
Donald Trump Jr has emerged as the familys most influential adviser of the moment as his father builds the most controversial cabinet in modern US history, sources close to Donald Trumps eldest son say.
Trump Jr has in some cases promoted inexperienced loyalists over more qualified candidates for top positions in president-elect Donald Trumps incoming administration.
During Trumps first administration, as the 45th president, his elder daughter, Ivanka Trump, and her husband, Jared Kushner, were top level political advisers, while his sons Don Jr and Eric were assigned mainly to run the family business.

The reality this time is we actually know what were doing, Don Jr told Fox News earlier this month. And its about surrounding my father with people who are both competent and loyal.

Apparently Junior gave us RFK Jr. and Tulsi.
I wonder who's pulling Junior's strings.

This is just so, well its past disappointing or even appalling. It may just be that Im going to give up trying to think about all of this sanely.

(17,451 posts)From what I read about him years ago, he was slapped around by his felonious father in front of his college friends. He tried to escape his father and was making an attempt at being a regular person, when his father pulled him back. Now, he's the worst of the bunch. A tale of how abuse and identification with an abuser can ruin a person.
