RFK Jr. Says Doing Heroin Made Him a Star Student

Source: Daily Beast

Published Nov. 26 2024 9:48AM EST

Just a few months before Donald Trump nominated Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to oversee U.S. health policy, the former presidential candidate was painting a shocking picture of heroin’s effectiveness as a study aid.

“I was at the bottom of my class,” he said during a podcast appearance on the Shawn Ryan Show. “I started doing heroin, and I went to the top of my class. Suddenly I could sit still, and I could read and I could concentrate. I could listen to what people were saying.”

The interview aired in July, during Kennedy’s unsuccessful run for president, but has resurfaced on social media now that the president-elected has nominated him to serve as Secretary of Health and Human Services.
The former environmental lawyer is perhaps best known for peddling vaccine conspiracies theories and trying to limit access to one of civilization’s greatest medical achievements. But he’s also been open about his struggles with addiction.

During the July interview, Kennedy explained how he first tried LSD when he was 15, the summer his father Robert F. Kennedy Sr. was assassinated. After LSD, he quickly moved on to heroin and cocaine, which were his “drugs of choice” until he finally managed to get sober 14 years later. The drugs “hollowed out” his life and destroyed his relationships, but they made him a star student, he said.

than WBush obliterating his brain with cocaine and alcohol for decades........

Personally, I think if the RepubliCONs legalized all drugs it would be of help for the citizens of the U.S. coping with what's coming....

Trump could set it up with the Mexican Cartels, have them agree to allow his spawn to handle ALL distribution rights in the U.S.

He could make a ton more money than his daughter and Jared did when they took total control of distribution of all PPE during the epidemic. They made a fortune from that, along with the TWO BILLION bonus from the Saudis for selling them intelligence.....

Kennedy just wants access to the pharmaceuticals that Trump was handing out in his "white house pharmacy"......No name, no Rx, no record of anyone visiting the pharmacy.....

Heroin and other opium alkaloids are actually effective treatments for a variety of psychological condition, including some forms of neurodivergence. It was the most widely prescribed medicine in the US for at least 100 years ' along with cocaine. But the majority of individuals that use opiates for that reason are incapable of dealing with the most common unwanted side effect ' addiction. Heroin, or more specifically opium, that has been standardized to deliver a septic dose, could indeed have done what RFK Jr. says it did. But that was well before the advent of synthetic opiates that are hundreds of times more powerful even in the hands of the experienced, and of course the use of cocaine. Although a common addition to Coca Cola ) that is where it got it´s name, and at one time ingested by hundred of thousands of working women in the US to work for long and oppressive hours for low wages and little food expense. Cocaine hydrochloride is a drug used by clinicians (4% solution) typically as a local anesthetic by ear, nose and throat doctors when performing any type of procedure that involve the nasal passages. There's not really another drug that can replace the vasoconstricting and anesthetizing propertied of the drug. Like a drug such as propofol, however, it is never prescribed outside of a medical setting or at least directly to a patient. In the case of RFK Jr., however, he most likely was getting cocaine cut with levamisole, a drug used to treat warts caused by viruses, leprosy, and parasites or worms in humans and other animals. It basically works by stimulating the worms muscles until they become paralyzed and die. Of course worms in many countries have become resistant to the drug. The reason it is often used to cut cocaine, as is fentanyl and a range of other potentially lethal chemicals, is that it can have anti-depressant, mood elevating, neurologically stimulating effects as a side effect. It has never been an approved drug for this indication, probably. because of the possibility of agranulocytosis- a wipeout of a huge number of white blood cells. But RFK Jr. could also have been treated with levamisole as the drug Valcor, a combination doramectine/levamisole injection for his brain worm. It's typically given to animals as an injection to treat sucking lice, mange mites, grubs, eye worms, lungworms, and GI roundworms. If you're using it in beef cattle it is advised that humans avoid eating the meat for at least 15 days. If the drug gets into groundwater it can kill off fish and insects beneficial to the environment or kills off beneficial insects that eat dung or use it to reproduce. Using contaminated heroin or cocaine for 14 years can have devastating effects on a human being.

55. Treating ADHD
Wed Nov 27, 2024, 02:23 PM
Nov 27

I'm a retired psychiatrist who treated adult ADHD-- with stimulants-- for years in my practice.

When I read this news report today, my first thought was that RFK, Jr. was providing a classic description of effective ADHD treatment with stimulants, which is often life-altering.

Contrary to popular misconceptions, stimulants (e.g., methylphenidate, dextroamphetamine, et.al.) are a highly effective treatment for ADHD-- in controlled studies comparing them with placebo.

I suspect that RFK, Jr. was mistakenly attributing the improvement of his ADHD symptoms to heroin, rather than stimulants.

I have no confidence in the RFK, Jr.'s medical judgment-- as we see with his debunked opinion that vaccines cause autism.

Trump is organizing a second kakistocracy-- even worse than his first disastrous administration.
