A campaign chair for Vice President Harriss 2024 presidential bid said the notion that she dodged interviews during the campaign was completely bulls‑‑‑.
I think back and think we should have signaled more of our strategy early on about podcasts and who we were [trying to] reach and but we had a limited amount of time to reach the people [we were trying to] reach and we were [trying to] go to them, Harris campaign Chair Jen OMalley Dillon said on Tuesdays Pod Save America episode. But being up against a narrative that we werent doing anything or we were afraid to have interviews, is completely bulls‑‑‑, she continued.
Harris faced increasing pressure to sit for interviews after she ascended to the top of the Democratic ticket. Her first major interview after becoming the partys nominee, alongside her running mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, came in late August with CNNs Dana Bash.
Real people heard in some way that we were not going to have interviews, which was both not true and also so counter to any kind of standard that was put on [President-elect Trump] that I think that was a problem, OMalley Dillon said in her Pod Save America appearance.

(17,362 posts)Dear Kamala,
You were held to a preposterously high standard, while your opponent was celebrated for wallowing in the MAGA filth. You ran the most impressive campaign I've seen in my lifetime. I couldn't have physically done one day of your campaign. I was exhausted just watching you.
You deserved so much better from the media.

(2,221 posts)the economy was bad was also b.s. The narrative that trans athletes were a serious national problem was b.s. The narrative that babies were being aborted after they were born was b.s. The narrative that undocumented immigrants engage in violent crime at high rates was also b.s. The narrative that the Republicans give two shits about workers was b.s. The narrative that Trump stealing and keeping top-secret government files in a bathroom was not an unprecedented breach of security is b.s.
The narrative that Hillary's emails on a private server were a serious security breach and a breach of the National Records Act was b.s. The narrative that Senator Kerry did not deserve his medals was b.s. The narrative that George Bush was effective in dealing with terrorists was b.s. The narrative that Reagan's economy was better than Carter's is b.s.
The narrative that I'm wondering about is whether the people of the US are intelligent enough for self government.
