HONG KONG — President-elect Donald Trump said Thursday that former Sen. David Perdue, R-Ga., had agreed to be nominated to be the next U.S. ambassador to China.

“As a Fortune 500 CEO, who had a 40-year International business career, and served in the U.S. Senate, David brings valuable expertise to help build our relationship with China,” Trump said on his Truth Social platform, noting that Perdue has lived in Singapore and Hong Kong and spent much of his career working in China and elsewhere in Asia.

“He will be instrumental in implementing my strategy to maintain Peace in the region, and a productive working relationship with China’s leaders,” Trump said.

Perdue's nomination is subject to Senate confirmation.

Is simply out in the open.

For too long too many in this country have worshipped extreme wealth because they thought maybe, someday, they would be just as wealthy. Didn’t happen and never will happen.

Like he has a strategy that doesn’t benefit him.

9. At least Perdue isn't quite as horrible a choice as Gaetz, Gabbard, Hegseth, Kushner, and a few of the others.

But damn, it sure says a lot about tRUMP's administration when we say that Perdue isn't his worst nomination.

MFer's strategy is to pick fights with China, immediately back down, and claim victory. Perdue should be able to help out fine with that.

His main job will be nodding politely.

Doesn't have a strategy. Maybe concepts of a strategy. But most frequently his strategy is akin to a cat and a laser pointer.

But in sure the poorly educated "think" otherwise.
