NFL to remove 'End Racism' messaging in end zone ahead of Super Bowl: Sources

NEW ORLEANS — At his annual news conference Monday, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell expressed strong support for the league’s policies designed to promote diversity at the club-employment level and indicated that those endeavors will continue.
“We got into diversity efforts because we felt it was the right thing for the National Football League,” Goodell said. “And we’re going to continue those efforts, because we’ve not only convinced ourselves we’ve proven it to ourselves — it does make the NFL better.”
On Super Sunday, however, the NFL might be making another kind of statement. According to two league sources, Sunday’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will mark the first time since February 2021 that “End Racism” is not included as a message in the back of a Super Bowl end zone. Instead, “Choose Love” and “It Takes All of Us” will be stenciled onto the back of the end zones at the Caesars Superdome.
The switch, conveyed internally to high-level employees earlier this week, could be perceived as a nod to the current political climate. Following the lead of recently inaugurated President Donald Trump and his administration, many corporations and institutions are abandoning their diversity, equity and inclusion programs. While Goodell said Monday he was “proud” of the league’s diversity efforts, the decision to do away with “End Racism” as a slogan led at least one high-ranking league official to express concern in light of Trump’s divisive words on the subject.

Trump doesn't belong in the Super Bowl, he belongs in federal prison. 
Although in all fairness, having the words "end racism" above a team with the most racist chant in all of sports is certainly sending conflicting messaging.
Defuse the situation a bit. I think Mahomes and Allen both have "Choose Love" on theirs. Whoop de doo.
If they're removing "End Racism", I guess racism must be at an end.

If the players got together before the game and planned to just meet at midfield and let it be known that no football will happen until TSF leaves the Superdome and that 'End Racism' returns to the end zone. Most of the players are black and I think this is a definite slap in the face to them. It would make for the greatest Super Bowl ever! What would Roger Goodell do? Ban Patrick Mahomes? Ban the entire Chiefs and Eagles teams? The only thing he could do is sit in his luxury box with multiple cameras on him with egg all over his fucking face.

The league is 75% black. Why would they ever agree to remove that statement? Oh wait, they tipped their hand when Kaepernick took a knee. I like watching football, been doing so for a long time. But they are making it easier for me to NOT watch by the boot licking they are giving to Felon47.
