Republicans' zeal against Biden's son a double-standard

Boy, Republicans can’t get enough of Hunter Biden and his drug-gun thing, right?

Well, it is a pretty juicy story. The son of the president, with a long history of substance abuse, is being prosecuted for denying he was using drugs when he bought a revolver.

But don’t you think the focus is kind of … narrow? Endless talk about how Hunter lied. Not much comment at all on the fact that just being asked whether you’re on drugs is a pretty modest approach to firearm safety.

All state laws are different. Delaware, where Hunter got his revolver, recently made some big changes. It will require anyone who buys a gun to first complete a firearm safety training program.

1. I think that the R's have been jonesing for a scandal like the Clenis.

Hunter Biden is their ecstatic chance to return to the high that they got for the persecution of Bill Clinton. I'm not trying to say that either guy should get off scot free, but they are really enjoying their pearl clutching way too much.

2. Every accusation by R's is a confession.

They screeched endlessly about wanting to impeach Bill Clinton, supposedly because he lied. Now they are making a big racket about Hunter having lied on a form. Meanwhile, they promote The Big Lie about the 2020 election, and they lie endlessly and continually about EVERYTHING! I know their intentions aren't honorable or even willing to tolerate the well being of the majority of us. They just want to distract us from the fact that TSF is a convicted felon.
