Desperate times: Trumpers launch Swiftboating 2.0

Donald Trump is down so bad that his campaign is bringing back Republican dirty tricks from 20 years ago.

Kamala Harris is packing arenas and rising in the polls while Trump whines about crowd sizes during incoherent press conferences and in insane Truth Social posts. Harris’s running mate, Tim Walz, is a breakout star — a sharp contrast to Trump’s pick, JD Vance, who can’t shake the notion that he’s a creepy weirdo. Put it together and it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Trump team is targeting Walz with a sleazy smear campaign that recalls the infamous “swiftboating” attacks against John Kerry. The approach isn’t a coincidence, either: Chris LaCivita, Trump’s senior campaign adviser, coordinated the “swiftboating” smears back in 2004.

Last week, Vance claimed that Walz abandoned his National Guard unit just before it was deployed to Iraq in 2005.

“When Tim Walz was asked by his country to go to Iraq, you know what he did? He dropped out of the Army and allowed his unit to go without him,” Vance said during a speech. He’s also accused Walz of exaggerating his record of service.

1. They can try, but it won't work, and it makes them look like pathetic losers

my circle of acquaintances, my family (5 veterans in 3 generations, with service spanning Vietnam through Afghanistan), and my close friends.

It's creating more disgust with Trump/Vance than anything. And personally, when I explain how false the accusations are to people who have no military service background, they don't appreciate the attacks either.

3. As what is happening to tRUMP and his stupid nicknames, people will ignore any attempts to smear Governor Watz

w/ stupid nicknames or relabel his previous service to our Country as anything but honorable. People are sick and tired of these idiotic attempts to smear these good people and these efforts to smear them will backfire on these idiots, as they should. tRUMP is the biggest damage of all and I suspect that he's going to get worse, get out of control, and then the crap that his controllers tried to stifle will spew forth uncontrollably.

Good. The Kamala/Watz campaign and other campaigns (the Lincoln Project) have all been hitting on donnie boy's sensitive nature by constantly running ads that hit upon donnie boy's sensitive spots and it's driving him crazy. Good!

The giant crowds that are crowding into Kamala's tent aren't helping donnie boy either. Wonderful! I hope donnie boy suffers.
